Tha Purrin Lion Sound Flex Crew

Established in 1995 Tha Purrin Lion was originally formed to put Jungle and Drum & Bass in the forefront of the dance music scene in Houston, and not just some random curiosity relegated to side rooms at raves. Over the years the crew has been responsible for creating a drum and bass culture that has permeated throughout the Houston and Texas "rave scene" until this day.

These days the drum and bass sounds are still ever present, especially with the all D&B night FRENZI promoted once a month, but the crew has also diversified and changed as has the music over the last two decades. Now along with the D&B sounds you can hear dubstep, reggae, dancehall, 2 step and uk garage being pushed by the crew.
